My Art Contest "GROUP ART SHOW " Entry Form and Rules Page
ENTRY FORM
RULES:
- Open to all levels, ages, mediums and styles of visual artists - painting, drawings, photography, digital, sculpture.
- Submissions must be in the following format types: (jpg,jpeg,gif) and be less than 1MB.
- If a background is viewable we reserve the right to crop the image so only art is visible.
- Art work must be original and created by the artist submitting the art.
- The term "OPEN" is open the artist's interpretation.
- Size of Original Art must be no larger than 30" x 36"
- If your art is selected then you will be responsible for all shipping cost. Shipping details will be given to all winners.
- Hand delivery of art is acceptable, if your art is chosen. Instructions and delivery dates will be given out at time of acceptance.
- No glass framed art will be accepted. Plexiglass is ok.
- Art must have been created with in the past 3 years.
- You may enter as many times as you like.
- All art is placed on website for duration of contest, but it may take a few days to get the art posted online. We add and review all art manually.
- Winning art will be featured in Issue 7 of Artist Portfolio Magazine.
- Gallery 207 will choose 10 works of art to be displayed in the gallery for the month of June 2012. Opening reception to coincide with the popular Santa Ana Art Walk.
1st Place - $500, Full Page Feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine and art displayed in Gallery 207 for the month of June 2012.
2nd Place - $250, Full Page Feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine and art displayed in Gallery 207 for the month of June 2012.
3rd Place - $100, Full Page Feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine and art displayed in Gallery 207 for the month of June 2012.
4-10 Places - Full Page Feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine and art displayed in Gallery 207 for the month of June 2012.
- Top 10 artists will receive a full page feature in the issue 7 Artist Portfolio Magazine.
- 20 Honorable Mentions will receive a 1/4 page feature in issue 7 of Artist Portfolio Magazine.
- $35 for 2 entries.
- MyArtContest.com and Gallery 207 's decision of the winning entries is final.
- Winning Artists are responsible for all shipping costs. Detailed instructions for shipping will be submitted to the winning artists.
- Artists do not need to be present on the opening of the exhibition, but are encourage to be present.
- Please send us any business cards or other literature that pertains to you and your art when shipping your art.
- DO NOT SEND PAINTINGS TO THE GALLERY UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN CHOOSEN TO DO SO. ALL ART IS JUDGED ONLINE AND WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON May 7, 2012.

IMPORTANT DATES:
All entries must be submitted by April 30, 2012.
Winners will be announced on May 7, 2012.
Issue 7 of Artist Portfolio Magazine will be distributed in the Summer of 2012.

** MyArtContest.com reserves the right to use any image submitted for promotion of our website and future art contests.
*** Artist Portfolio Magazine is an online and digital magazine created by MyArtContest.com and will be distributed to galleries, art collectors, interior designers and various art related entities. Issue 7 is set for release in summer of 2012. |
