ARTIST STATEMENT:
As an abstract artist, within my repertoire are works both on canvas and paper, of which my preferred mediums are not limited to charcoal, acrylic, sand, pastel and newspaper. Art for me is the incorporation of ancestry and the soul through texture, shapes and the use of words. I see the ordinary spirally, backwards, zigzagged, inside out, and even upside down. For me, art is a representation of the aesthetics of life, self, and experiences. Seen as both fun and educational, my art express the deepest sentiment of emotion as well as finds a way to inform its viewers about a particular moment in time.
