ARTIST STATEMENT: These works, part of my 'Roma Collection', were created during my 2008 adventures in Italy to reconnect with my early and blossoming passion to paint. 'Testimone' (Witness) is inspired by the landscape and history of the Tiber River and 'Custode' (Guardian) by the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere, Rome.
