ARTIST STATEMENT:

I grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts. I learned the finer aspects of painting from Henri Jeandet in Bourjet du lac, France. I received a Bachelors of Fine Arts at the University of Massachusetts. I have been painting for twenty-five years. I am currently affiliated with Cape Cod Art Association and Falmouth Artists Guild. I won an award for my painting, Ocean Colors. I have many of my paintings in private collections in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Exhibitions/Awards:

I have had two of my paintings in the Cape Cod Art Association's exhibits. I have had two shows in New Haven, Connecticut art galleries where I have sold seven paintings. I also have submitted two of my works to the Falmouth Artists Guild exhibitions. I have recently won an award for my painting, Ocean Colors, by the Cape Cod Maritime Art Association.
