ARTIST STATEMENT:

I love realism - even though I see less and less of it out in the art world. My particular style is best described as "fantastical realism", not fantasy per se, but fantasy woven into the real world, into the everyday. I love placing people into imaginary places, or bring imaginary things into our world. My method is a combination of dry and wet media, and my inspiration comes from random sources like tree trunks and song lyrics.
