Artist Statement:

Davina Romansky is a metals artist engaging the use of natural tension and movements found in nature to express action for jewelry and sculptural forms giving artistic identity to each piece by combining conceptual and aesthetic beauty with technical proficiency – capturing people’s emotions while challenging them to appreciate and desire original art. Believing there should always be discovery and drive for perfection while maintaining discipline in one’s craft, Davina continues to pursue her goal of learning as many techniques as possible in the metals field. She has a BFA in metals/jewelry from Rochester Institute of Technology, attended Penland School of Crafts, Art Studio Fugi in Florence, Italy and studied under Giovanni Corvaja, Barbara Heinrich, Giuseppe Massoni, Juan Carlos Caballeros-Perez, Leonard Urso and So Young Park.
