Artist Statement:

The art is an expression form where alternating worlds of other dimensions are created where the limit is the imagination. My dimension as far as the art, is inspired mainly by the human figure, especially by the feminine one. I have worked with the feminine figure for a long time. The body is a surface of undulations and volumes of great expressive wealth.The curved line and the volume tied to the light and the shade, next to the color nourish my proposals of abstraction or figuration. The corporal landscapes with their natural and mysterious beauty inspire to me. These landscapes are transmuted in organic abstractions, in proposals of different nature that transport me to other dimensions, projecting my preoccupations, my ideas, my feelings.

Between those proposals I can mention the one of the metaphor of the cundiamor where boricua with cundiamor the tropical fruit compares the woman This is of orange color, red and green and projects the energy of the latin woman. The second proposal is the one of the body like tropical landscape. The third proposal is reminiscences where vague memory of the figure is transformed into organic abstraction like spontaneous expression of the subconscious mind.
