Artist Statement:

My goal as an artist is to convey the beauty I
see every day. Painting close up flowers
with intricate details is what I enjoy the most.
This allows me to push brilliant color as far as possible. I have tried many mediums-oil, watercolor, acrylics, charcoal, and I enjoy acrylics the most. I started painting five years ago, after a twenty year sabbatical.
I’ve taken a few classes that got me back into painting. I have participated in a half a dozen shows. By keeping involved in the arts,
gives me the discipline I need to be consistently creative.
