Artist Statement:

Born in New York City in 1951, Thom Lupari is a self trained fine artist. He has been creating works of art all his life. Thom paints from inspiration coming from within, thus allowing the painting take him where it wants to go. His work has it's own unique style and quality.His oil paintings are created using a glazed technique with over 100 layers of translucent paint applied. This technique gives the painting a luminescent quality not seen in most paintings. He also works in Acrylic and other media.
